Over the years as a graphic designer my job has evolved to include special and corporate event photography.

I have become not only one of the  primary graphic designers for special events promotions and advertising materials for the City I work for, I'm now also the 'go-to' photographer for many City events including openhouses, outdoor park openings, festivals and community events. I really enjoy shooting special events because it brings together people from all walks of life in a festival and fun-filled environment. You can't help but get caught up in the fun atmosphere... surrounded by people having a great time, sharing their space and spirit with strangers. As Martha says, "it's a good thing!"
