London Farm Heritage site

The environment you live in is the cornerstone of your quality of life and I'm very lucky to be living in one of the most beautiful cities in North America - Richmond, British Columbia!

Our rapidly growing island community is a stone's throw [aka 25 minute drive] from gorgeous downtown Vancouver and is home to an extensive riverfront estuary and recreational trail corridor. Living here is great because not only do we have one of the most extensive waterfront trail systems in the Metro Vancovuer area, we also have innovative parks and significant heritage landmarks [particularly along the South Arm of the Fraser River] all making for a very scenic and photo friendly environment.

There are three main areas in Richmond that I tend to focus my lens on...

  • The scenic and historic Steveston Village district in south west Richmond. It can be super crowded, but it's one of my favorite location sites
  • South Dyke trail from Steveston Village to No. 3 Road Fishing Pier. Amazing views of the river, small beaches and heritage sites. Great people watching along this corridor for sure!
  • West Dyke Trail along the great Sturgeon Banks Estuary and western edge of the city. This is THE BEST spot for sunsets and bird watching. An evening on the trail with camera as a weekly summer habit. Don't forget the bug spray either... forget once, you'll never forget again LOL!
